Weltwärts
Weltwärts is the Global Volunteering Programme by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. the main purpose of this programme is to strengthen intercultural understanding across the globe. This program is open to a broad circle of young adults from developing or emerging countries and it also strengthening the cultural exchange. This new program aims to promote political and developmental education and provides a platform for young people to exchange experiences on the living circumstances of their respective countries, and network with one another.
"Indian Youth Volunteering to Germany" is the special programme organizing by the Karl Kübel Foundation for Child and Family(KKF) along with Karl Kubel Stiftung for Kind and Familie(KKS).From India, KKS is sending volunteers to India since 2008. From India, KKF is one among a few who has been part of this initiative. They made a first attempt which was in the year of 2015 with 2 Volunteers who has got secured accommodation with wide exposure and enthusiasm.
This year 2017 KKF selected 4 Youths from India (Aiswarya.R, Evelin Jane Soundharya, Shilpa George and Abhilash) for the Volunteer Program to Germany.
